From Friday, January 16 to Sunday, January 18, 2026, Hermosillo will host its 4th annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.
There will be three days of family entertainment. The Balloon Festival will feature 20 anchored hot air balloons, food court, children’s area and live music.
The Hot Air Balloon Festival is located at Expogan Sonora (map).
It starts at 5:00pm each day in the parking lot of Expogan and is free to attend.
There will be live music on Saturday, January 18 at 10:00pm by the Colombian group Piso 21. Piso 21, is known for merging Latin pop, reggaeton and urban music. They have the crowd singing and dancing from beginning to end. The concert is free.
Other participating musicians include Rigos Band, Los Hijos de Frank, Cartas a Venus, Julio Ávila, Toque y Tono, and Los Apson, in addition to the 4th International Dance Festival and a nighttime drone show.

The festival closes with two performances of the drone show at dusk, in addition to the International Dance Festival, Toque y Tono, and the grand musical finale with Los Apson.
