San Carlos local Jinx Schwartz won the 2007 Eppie Award for Best Mystery for her novel Just Add Water, the first in her Hetta Coffey Mystery Series.
When in San Carlos, Jinx and her husband Robert, live aboard their boat High Jinx.
Jinx is currently working on book number four in the Hetta Coffey series and has just completed editing Land of Mountains for re-release as a juvenile/ young adult book.
Land of Mountains, was first published years ago as a “fictograpy” novel based on her childhood in Haiti. This second edition of the ten-year-old Texan’s humorous adventures is now librarian approved for kids and adults alike.
