Marina Terra San Carlos is a great place to snorkel or dive. The Beach Club does rent snorkel equipment, Snorkel, Fins and Visor for 100 pesos for the day or you can choose a 2hr excursion with a professional guide which includes a box lunch for 350 pesos per person. You can purchase drinks and refreshments from the Beach Club, and then use their bathroom facilities, which are very clean and nice.

Right off shore, there’s plenty to see. Up the left side, a reef juts into the water with 20 foot deep fissures where the bigger fish like to hide. Continuing up the left side, are caves and an arch to explore.Swim out to the island on the right side for shallower snorkeling. Small sparkly bright blue fish dart among green coral that is almost iridescent.The Beach Club is a great place to grab a drink while you peruse your fish card trying to recall all the many fabulous fish that you swam with. |

Location: To get to the beach club, take the main road past the MarinaTerra Hotel, and then turn left at the roundabout and continue to follow the road towards the water (at the Marinaterra Beach Club). If you go in through the Beach Club entrance, you may be asked to pay a fee, even if you just want to pass through to get to the beach. So instead, park in their lot, and then walk to the left of the Beach Club where you will see a path beside a home (adjacent to the Club) which you can use to get to the beach.
The Marina Terra beach club is also a great place to kayak.
